Recruitment – Autumn 09
Are you out of work, in part time employment or retired with an
interest in what we do and a few hours spare each month?
Due to retirements and expansion there are some gaps to be filled.
On the finance side we are looking for a person (or maybe two) who
can be a little more than a bookkeeper, getting involved in all the
financial planning of individual project etc.
Currently the Board
of Trustees is also looking for at least 2 new members ideally with
some sort of business or finance background, possibly even in
fundraising. Details of all of these posts will be advertised very

The current team, up to now, have all involved themselves very
actively as volunteers in the running of Tradamis. As we grow so
will these tasks. We are hoping to spread the load with
significantly more volunteers on the staff. That means we need
people willing to take on just a few hours (maybe 8-10 a month) in
the following areas.
Contracts Administration
Office and General Administration
Marketing including
PR and Press Officer
e-media Development
Client Contact and Sales
Merchandise Sales
Officer Support
Audio and Visual Media Development
If you want to use or develop your skills in any of these areas then
contact us.
We hope to be able to pay expenses and will be considering creating
a number of paid roles as our income increases.
In the meantime while the volunteers will be helping us we will at
the same time involve them as much as possible in any paid work and
help them in their own professional development.

Finance Officer
Tradamis
needs someone to be part of the Management Team covering the
role of Finance Officer. This is significantly more than a
bookkeeping role as we have partnership and funding bids in the
pipeline and the prospect of an increased amount of work in the
new academic year.
This person would be working closely
with the Director and the Administrator but reporting directly
to the Hon Treasurer (who is on the Board of Trustees).
Once familiar with systems, it is expected that the role should require no
more than 8 hours a week.

Skills Day
Tradamis is increasing its team of
practitioners, both dance & music teachers and accompanists.
We are holding a Skills Day for potential practitioners at a
school in the London area on 10 November
